The PandaBoard4500 is basically a PandaBoardES development board with expansion connectors installed to interface with LightCrafter 4500 EVM. All open source software releases that runs on the PandaBoardES will run on PandaBoard4500 also. PandaBoard4500 is provisioned to be powered directly from LightCrafter4500.
The latest version of PandaBoardES or PandaBoard4500 is Rev B3, which uses a different DDR memory device than the previous versions ( Rev B2 and B1). In order to run the current software (that runs on Rev B2 and B1) on Rev B3, some changes are required to the memory controller setting as explained in the document - http://www.svtronics.com/index.php?route=product/download&product_document_id=159&product_id=43
