RE: DLP LightCrafter & the 3D Machine Vision Reference Design

Hi Fizix,

I am a new in DLP. I want to learn some knowledge about 3D machine vision, so I chose the DLP Lightcrafter module.

TI has two modules, the DLP Lightcrafter, and the DLP Lightcrafter4500. I want to know the difference between them.

I know DLP Lightcrafter4500 module can realize the 3D machine vision reference design.  Can the DLP Lightcrafter module also realize the 3D machine vision reference design?

 Best regards

  • Hello and welcome to the DLP section of the TI-E2E community.

We are actively exploring which of our chipsets might be able to work with the 3D Machine Vision Reference Design.

Since the source code is available, it may be possible for you to make modifications to operate with the original LightCrafter.

Continue to check back periodically regarding this.
