Hello:

I have bought the  LightCrafter for five days.first day ,the Pc can connect to the LightCrafter through usb, when I modify the IP of LightCrafter , the LightCrafter cann't Connect to PC  with the GUI software. Please Help Me?

  • Hi,

Are you using a Windows machine? Take a look at the LightCrafter User's Guide section 2.2.4 Fixing the USB Start-Up Delay in Windows and follow the instructions there. This should make sure your IP address configurations are correct.

    Thanks,

    Clinton

  • Hi Clinton,Thanks for your prompt attention.

    I am using windows 7 64bit machine

    the setup as follow:

above setup follow the instructions " LightCrafter User's Guide section 2.2.4 Fixing the USB Start-Up Delay in Windows"

but cann't connect to the DLP LightCrafter through usb

  • Hi,

Can you try setting the default gateway to 192.168.1.100? If that still does not work, can you try the following procedure?

    1. Power down the LightCrafter
    2. Unplug the USB connection
    3. Close the GUI
    4. Disable all network adapters
    5. Reconnect the USB cable
    6. Power on the LightCrafter
    7. After the system boots (RGB bars projected), open the GUI
    8. Click the 'Connect' button on the GUI

I would also like to get some more insight into what caused your LightCrafter to stop connecting. You mentioned changing the IP address in your original post. What address did you change it to? Did you change it back to 192.168.1.100 after you were not able to connect?

    Thanks,

    Clinton

  • Hi,

I have tested according to above procedure, but I have not succeeded! The device can boot up and show the RGB stripes normally and can be recognized by the computer when it's connected via USB. However, It cannot be connected with the GUI provided. I checked the RNDIS network which is normal.

  • Hi,

Could you let us know the answer to the following question I asked?
