Trigger input of J7

Could anyone help me?

I want to use a Microcontroller STC89C52RC to generate the trigger signal. But the voltage of the pin of STC89C52 is 5V(TTL). However the LightCrafter's Instructions states that the voltage of the PIN2 of J7 should be 3.3V.

1、Could I connect the PIN of STC89C52RC directly to the PIN of J7 ?

2、If I can not connect the PIN of STC89C52RC directly to the PIN of J7,what should I do. Should I modify the Circuit board ? If I should modify the Circuit board,how to modify it. There is the board Board Schematic below.

3、where is the R282 on the board?

Thank you for your help!

But I am a little confused. To use a 5V input trigger to trigger the LightCrafter to diaplay picture sequence.In the first picture below,the writer said that I should remove R282 and short across R281. But in the second below,the writer said that I should remove R282 and install a 0 ohm resistor to R285. Which is the correct one?

Hi,

You will need to follow all of these instructions. Add a zero ohm resistor across R285 and one across R281. You will also need to remove R282.

Adding R285 connects the external trigger Vcc pin to the Vcc trigger input signal. Adding R281 and removing R282 sets the Vcc trigger input to 5V from 3.3V.
