We want to use the TRP 1080p chip set in an upcoming project. I'd like to know the expected availability of the Light Crafter evaluation platform. I assume it is in the same product family as the Display 3010 unit for the 720p TRP chips set.

We will release the 4710EVM (TRP 1080p chip set) by end of June 2015.

Thanks for you reply in Marc regarding this evaluation board. Is there any update on the availability of the 4710EVM (TRP 1080p chip set)? Is it possible to place an early order? Has pricing been determined yet?

Dan,

We have our 4710EVM out in two weeks. We just finished everything and ready to launch. The price is around $1000, but wait until you see the final price on ti.com after launch.
