DLP lightcrafter evaluation board - pattern sequence setting - failed

I am trying to setup the LightCrafter Evaluation module in Stored Pattern Mode (patterns are stored in the DLPC mDDR). I have my patterns ready (various bit depth mono bit map format). I always get an error after click "set" for the 1. pattern sequence settings. This happens before step 2. load pattern images.

Any idea why this happens? I tried different settings for the pattern sequence settings, but it always fails at "set". 

"get" is working fine.
