First time user having issue connecting to the DLP LightCrafter.

Hello.

I'm having trouble operating the DLP LightCrafter and I was wondering if you could help me.

Someone in my research group purchased a DLP LightCrafter Evaluation Model (Version 2.0) in Feb. 2014. He disconnected the optics, red, green, and blue LEDs and never used it.

Yesterday I tried to connect a 4.7V power supply with the DLP LightCrafter. I didn't see the DMD pattern change at all. When I connected an HDMI cable I didn't the DMD pattern change at all either.

Today, I reattached the optics, red, green, and blue LEDs via the two ribbon cables and when I connected the power supply the red led in the light engine flashed like a strobe light. The D5 rapidly blinked green, the D1 LED stayed red, the D4 rapidly blinked green, and one of the LEDs on the lower board was constantly on green. I could not see a splash screen or any test patterns. I uploaded a video on YouTube to show you what I saw. [www.youtube.com/watch;feature=youtu.be]

When I connected the USB cable nothing showed up on my "Device Manager" in Windows 7 under "Other Devices".  The LED patterns on the board changed and the red LED in the light engine stopped strobing as frequently but eventually the circuit board LEDS and light engine red LED came back to the same state as shown in the video.

Any suggestions?
