I can't connect the DLP LightCrafter EVM(GUI)

 Hi, everyone.

I have big trouble using LCr EVM. I cannot connect the DLP LIGHTCRAFTER with my laptop.

The device can boot up and show the RGB stripes normally and can be recognized by the computer when it's connected via mini-USB.
However, It cannot be connected with the GUI provided. I checked the RNDIS network which is normal.
 I've tried Win7 OS(32bit)_laptop and Win7 64bit another laptop. It shows "connection error = 5" or "connection error = 7"
I'm using the GUI, version is 'DLP LightCrafter FW & SW v5.0'. I've tried reinstalling RNDIS driver and rebooting LCr.

 Please solve this problem.

Thank you! have a good day everyone :D

We are thinking you were able to use the GUI earlier, is it correct? since when you started seeing the problem, please search the E2E forum there are several discussion threads on the connection issues. When you have problem, does it display the RGB pattern? if not the DM365 may not be booting.

    Regards,

    Sanjeev

  • Hi, Sanjeev

My LCr EVM display the RGB pattern, furthermore it can display HDMI. However GUI is not.

I wasn't able to use the GUI. I haven't connected GUI.

I already searched the E2E forum and I could find same connection issues.
But it can't useful. It still not connect.

    thank you for your Answer.
  • Try pining the IP address of EVM 192.168.1.100. If PC is not able to respond than it is a RNDIS driver issue. See if there is a IP conflict or EVM is set to another IP address.

    Sanjeev
  • I already tried pining the IP address of EVM 192.168.1.100 and reinstalled RNDIS driver too...

I also compared the IPv4 address of EVM(CMD.exe - ipconfig /all) , GUI and Ethernet adapter's IP address.

I try all answers of LCr Connection issues at E2E. But it's still not connect.

What's the solution of this problem?

Thank you for reading. Have a nice day!
  • I'm having the same problem here. In my case, the GUI simply stop responding. I wonder if it has to do with any Microsoft update, since people tried to use the GUI before has not reported any problem.
  • Hi Huayi Wei.

I'm not using auto Mucrosoft Update.

     So my laptop haven't updated.

I'm sorry  I can't understand your last sentence.

    Thankyou for reply!
