About I2C register of calculate checksum and CSC function

Hi ,

I reading the DLPU010B.pdf programing guide, why calculate checksum and CSC I2C sub address is same?

  • Hello Ms Liu,

They should not be same. The Color Space Conversion sub address is correct, but I don't see the correct Calculate Checksum sudaddress listed. I will find this out for you and get back to you.

We are currently working on a new revision of the Programmer's Guide so I will let you know when we release it. Thank you for notifying us of this error.

    Best regards,

    Blair

  • Hello Ms Liu,

I was mistaken about them being different. The addresses are indeed the same, but the mode of the controller determines if the Calculate Checksum or Color Space Conversion command executes. The Calculate Checksum command runs while the device is in programming mode and the Color Space Conversion command runs when the device is not in programming mode (normal operation).

    Best regards,

    Blair
