DLP light crafter white light emitting problem

Dear all,

I have a DLP lIghtcrafter and i am displaying an image through MATLAB. Unfortunately I require purely blue light to exit my LightCarfter and it is set to do so, but a fair amount of very bright white light is being emitted. This is a big problem and i require assistance ASAP.

Hello Vance,

Please check physically if Green and Blue LEDs are turned OFF indeed. Are you using Pattern Sequence Mode, if not consider using the same.

but we need the blue LED for our use of the DLP LightCrafter..

Also, how do i make sure the LEDs are turned off?

Define pattern sequence mode please? Sorry we're kind of new to the DLP LightCrafter.

We are using an external patern sequence.

But you haven't told me how to turn off the red LED.

Hello Vance,

When creating the pattern sequence you select the color of each pattern. The other option if you only require a single color for the entire sequence (which I believe is the case for you) is to set the LED Driver Control to Manual and only enable the blue LED.
