RE: How to use the DLP pattern sequences automatically?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC350

I also have same question on how to make LightCrafter 4500 running flash pattern automatically after boot.

Situation:

   I successfully made a pattern sequence by LCR4500GUI, running well by press "play" on tab "pattern sequence" -"sequence setting" page.

   I try to make the sequence automatic running after power on boot.

   So, I press "save solution", set .ini file as attached file, and upgrade the PROM firmware.

          DEFAULT.AUTOSTART 0x0 ;
          DEFAULT.DISPMODE 0x1 ;

  The user manual described "0x1 = Pattern display mode (will start pattern sequence after initialization and splash time-out)

  I suppose the pattern sequence will running automatically, but it didn't.

Questions:

    1. where to find the solution on user guide? the mentioned section 2.11 did not existed on user guide (doc#DLPU011D)

     2. user manual described  DEFAULT.PATTERNCONFIG.TRIG_MODE  0x01:Internal or external trigger

         How to make sure the internal trigger is enable, instead of waiting an external trigger ?

Simon

  • Hello Simon,

    On GUI v2.0 and DLPC350 F/W v2.0 there is a problem.

    There is bug in the DLPC350 F/W binary that is causing the hardware to not start automatically in pattern sequence display mode even though Default.ini configuration is set accordingly.

    We will fix it in the next release.

    Thank you for your patience.

    Regards,

    Sanjeev
