I'm looking for information or a distributor for a TI DMD chip P/N S1410-9030 or S1410-9031.

This goes into a Panasonic 7700U projector. Panasonic has a large number of DMD blocks that have defective DMD chips.

I'm just trying to determine whether these DMD chip are available through distributors or not.

Thanks,

    Hello Chris,

Welcome to the DLP section of the TI-E2E Community.

Unfortunately most of the chips in consumer/commercial projectors are through a special OEM agreement with the manufacturer.  You would need to contact Panasonic regarding availability.

You said, "Panasonic has a large number of DMD blocks that have defective DMD chips."  Do you mean that your particular projector has a number of bad pixels?  Or did you mean something different?

    Yes non-working pixels.

I was looking for a replacement part.

    Chris,

Unfortunately you will have to go through the projector manufacterer to get a replacement DMD for consumer projectors.  They are not available through Distribution.
