Hi, I'm hoping one of you can point me in the right direction. I have a sharp xr32x which has been self-diagnosed as having a bad DMD. Sharp wants to charge $100 just to evaluate it, but I beleive based on the "white dots" showing up, that it is the DMD chip. I would rather just put that $100 towards the chip and save the trouble of shipping it. Can anyone tell me which DMD chip I need or wether I need to replace other components as well? Thank you in advance.
James,
The DMD in the Sharp xr32x would only be available from Sharp, or its service representatives. Please contact them. The DMD used is not a DLP Catalog part. Please see http://ti.com/mems for a list of available DLP chipsets.
Best regards,
Pascal
