DLP 4100 using and programming

hello,

I am a beginner of DMD and have some problems on our 0.7'' 4100 XGA DMD.

(1) According to some documents, I get the information that 0.7'' 4100 XGA DMD need to be illuminated at 24° from the normal with DMD rotated 45°, since the DMD mirrors rotate about the diagonal axis. Am I right?

(2) We are trying to use labview or matlab or C++ to control the DMD. But I could not find any examples or certain codes. I will be appreciate that if you can send me some examples.

  • Hello Tingai,

First, welcome to the DLP section of the TI-E2E Community.

    (1) You are correct that the illumination is typically done at 24° from the normal at 45° from the top of the DMD (i.e. the upper left corner).

    (2) Please request a Labview example (written under Labview 7.1) from the Design House Partner that you purchased your D4100 based kit from.  We require this to ensure compliance with U.S. Import/Export laws. If they do not have it they will request it from DLP to provide to you.

    I hope this helps,

    Fizix
