Is there a video scaler in the DLPC300?

If so, what is the maximum offset in degrees from 90 (projector pointed straight at the screen) that the keystone correction can reasonably compensate for?

  • Is there a video scaler in the DLPC300?

[Sanjeev] Yes, in HDMI Video Mode, the DLPC300 I2C register 0x0C, Input Resolution, the input video is scaled to WVGA resolution.

If so, what is the maximum offset in degrees from 90 (projector pointed straight at the screen) that the keystone correction can reasonably compensate for?

[Sanjeev] There is NO keystone block available with this controller chip.

  • What TI part is capable of keystone correction that works with the DLP3000 chipset?

What is the the maximum offset in degrees from 90 (projector pointed straight at the screen) that the keystone correction (in your suggested part) can reasonably compensate for?

  • Hello Darryl,

We have recently launched a new EVM for basic display applications. Here is the link http://www.ti.com/tool/DLPDLCR2010EVM

Although this module don't use DLP3000 ths chipset configuration does support Keystone adjustment. I suggest you to look for the same if your key care about is Keystone.

    Good luck.

    Regards,
    Sanjeev
