Removal/replacement of DMD cover glass

The paper did not mention what kind of lubrication element was used in a DMD. Perhaps you can shed more light on this?

Hi Sanjeev, noted on that. So essentially you are saying that the DMD is fully sealed with a special lubricating "gas" element trapped inside to ensure the DMD works, and that once the cover glass is removed, the element escapes and would render the DMD useless. Is my understanding correct? 

In other words, there is no way the cover glass can be user replaceable unless it is somehow replaced by TI?
