For my research I am trying to separate the pico projector processor board from the DMD projector module. What do you think is the maximum distance between DMD module and processor board? Does anyone know the part number/name of the socket connecting the processor board and DMD module?

Hi there, I've read all of the new docs (1505 datasheet, etc), and have spent a great deal of time with a few Picos on a specific project, I have a recommendation. Suggestion: In future Pico eval kits, it would be fantastic to expose the 1505's CPU I/F to the developer. Currently, it's...

Hello. I work for Stewart Filmscreen and recently I have been questioned by a few dealers about the differences between these 2 units. The main concern is that our dealers have 'heard' that the dark chip 3 is designed more for dedicated theater environments, and the Dark Chip 4 is intended...

Hello, we're planning to upgrade our product design based on DLP. We need to increase the illuminating intensity. I have a discovery 4000 kit with the .55 XGA chip. I'm controlling the DMD through Matlab via the .OCX (ActiveX) file provided. Overall, it's an amazing piece of technology. Fortunately, there are built-in Matlab functions that allow me to call the .OCX routines to control the DMD without rebuilding...

Hi Martha, Like you, we have too many images to pre-generate all the bin files. However, I don't think that your method of sweeping through pixels one-at-a-time is the way to go. You are probably doing some kind of compressive sensing, and there are much better algorithms than reading one pixel...

In fact, we use DMD as 3D measure, the current DMD(HVGA) resolution is a little small, VGA size is the best for our product.
