Hello support team,

We have planned to build a DLP 3d printer based on DLPDLCR4710EVM-G2, So i need to know what all modification should i undergo like All glass lenses and optical coatings to optimize for 405nm. Besides, 0% offset optical architecture for getting smaller distortion. and mainly need to know if this light engine can support User for I2C Command set via USB, if it dose i need Command format, LED Current Setting, LED Enable / Disable.

Hello!

Thanks for using the TI E2E forums! The EVM supports an I2C command interface as outlined in the DLPC3439 Programmer's Guide. Also there is a GUI you ran run on a PC that can issue commands to the EVM. For information on the other optical engines see this post:

Hello,
If this did not resolve your issue can you please rephrase your question. Yes our chip-set has I2C communication, and the programmers guide will outline what it supports. We do not have any 405nm specific optical info. That could be something you work with our design partners on. But there is a optical app note on the EVM page: www.ti.com/.../dlpa078a.pdf
