Hello, TI Experts,

Our customer sent us a questions about DLP4710 with dual DLPC3439 control.

Question:

Which pixels are controlled by each DLPC3439?

- One DLPC controls the right side and another DLPC controls the left side of 1920x1080 pixels?

- One DLPC controls the even lines and another DLPC controls the odd lines of 1920x1080 pixels?

Other method?

We would also appreciate if you refer attached pdf and tell us how to control 1920x1080 pixels with dual DLPC3439.

Hello Matusan,

As you said in your point1 is the correct controls of pixel- One DLPC3439 controller handles Right side and second DLPC3439 handles Left side pixels.

And,

I have one question about that.

Question:

Could you explain more about current implementation of DLP4710 EVM(DLPDLCR4710EVM-G2)?

I think the master DLPC handles Left side pixels and the slave DLPC handles Right side pixels of DMD like attached pdf.

Is this understanding correct?

Hello Matusan,

Yes, DLPC3439 Master handles the Left and DLPC3439 Slave handles the Right side Pixels.
