DLPC3439: Pixel clock capture edge

Part Number: DLPC3439

Hi, how can I change pixel clock capture edge from rising edge (default setting) to falling edge ? In the DLP3439 datasheet is noticed that active capture edge of PCLK is software programmable. I see configuration command only for vertical and horizontal synchronization. Thank you !

  • Hello Zdenek,

Welcome to E2E Forum and thanks for showing your interest in DLP Technology.

I agree that pixel clock capture can change for Rising or falling edge. But in our s/w we supports only rising edge because all the transmitters supports both rising and falling edge pixel clock and most of the users use rising edge for pixel clock capture.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any questions or need support related to this.

    Thanks,
    Navneet
  • Hi Navneet,

thank you very much for response. Unfortunately we are using Semtech SDI receiver and output data from receiver parallel bus require falling edge pixel clock. We had to add inverting clock logic for correcting that issue and now it works nicely in FullHD as well.
    Regards Zdenek
