DLP4710: is there any SDK for DLP4710 projection pattern as in 4500

Hello,

We are using pattern sequence mode in DLP4500 for binary bit-plane projection.

We have recently bought DLP 4710 and want to project the same bit-plane projection.

In the GUI there is no pattern sequence mode as in DLP4500 GUI.

Is there any software for DLP4710 to control the projector bit-plane projection similar to DLP4500 ?

Hello,

Thanks for using the DLP E2E forums! You are correct there is no bit-plane control for the 4710 EVM. The 4500 with the DLPC350 was developed for industrial applications while the DLP4710 chip set was developed for human eye optimized displays.

Can you please suggest us which DLP is better in lumen but having same bit-plane control as DLP4500.

Hello,

Sure thing! We have a few options. The LightCrafter 6500 and LightCrafter 9000 are designed for pixel accurate functionality like the DLP4500. The Texas Instruments EVMs do not have optics, but you can purchase the same DLP6500 set-up with optics from our third party partner Wintech . If you go with Wintech you might want to call just to make sure that plat form offers all the features you are looking for.
