DLPDLCR2000EVM: keeping the mirrors static

Part Number: DLPDLCR2000EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC2607

In my application, using the DLP2000EVM attached to the beaglebone black wireless, I need to keep the image projecting without sweeping the DLP: no Vsync, No Hsync, No pixel clock. In other words, I want to keep the mirrors of the DLP in a static position for a long period of time until I put another pattern. Is there any easy way to do this from the command line of the beagklebone?

If I were to stop the pixel clock, would that keep the image static? or is there another solution?
Thanks in advance for your help
