I've asked before about taking control of the LEDs of Lightcrafter 2010EVM instead of passing it to the TI IC and was suggested to contact the manufacturer. Sadly Asia Optical has ignored my email from a corporate email address for weeks now so we will have to figure out the solution here.
There are 6 pins coming out through a ribbon cable from each LED. They go to a breakout board where their GNDs are made one, which makes sense since only one LED is on at a time. So I need to access the pins before the breakout board. Sadly, even though there are datasheets for the LEDs, it's not clear how the PCB the LEDs are surface mounted to on the optical engine divide the 6 pins and which are negative and which positive pins, if those are all there is. I can take macro photos of the surface mounted LEDs if that will help, or other photos if needed, just tell me what you need me to provide, as again, Asia Optical is either ignoring my emails or extremely unresponsive to be a reliable partner for me specifically.
