DLP3010: Input frame rate = or != Output frame rate

I want to ask a question about the 120Hz, what does the input frame rate mean?

If I input a color video with 120Hz, RGB888, 1280*720, can the DLP3010 output the video in 120Hz, RGB888, 1280*720?

Thank you for your reply. Do You mean the max output frame rate with 120Hz RGB888 color 1280*720 is equal to the max input frame rate with 120Hz RGB888 color 1280*720, about the DLP 3010 ?

Can I think the max output frame can be achieved is just the max input frame rate which the DLP can support?

Hi Joblin,

Yes your understanding is correct. You can achieve 120Hz frame-rate by driving a 120Hz source.

Thank you very much! You give me a very clear answer. In the past, I regarded the max 8-bit pattern rate is the max 8-bit output pattern rate, so I thouth the max RGB888 color frame rate is the 1/3 of the max 8-bit pattern rate. I had made a big error. I was wrong.
