For now, the module supported for the bluetooth interface is PAN1315 (CC2560-based) by Panasonic.

What I found from TI eStore is "PAN1315 Bluetooth Evaluation Module Kit for MSP430":

From the pictures, that board seems to use one 18-pin connector, while C5515 eZdsp USB stick and C5515 EVM board both use two 20-pin connectors. Is that the right board?

Yes, that is the PAN1315 (C2560-based). The pin connectors that you use to interface with the C5515 eZdsp are at the bottom of the bluetooth module.

The current module on the ti store (April 2012) is PAN1323EMK. Is this still compatible with the C5515 ezDsp?

The PAN1323ETU is pin compatible with the TMS320C5515EVM. I am not sure if it is compatible with the C5515 ezDsp. You should check the schematic of the board found on the Panasonic website.

Thanks for the info. It appears the PAN1323ETU has the a newer module soldered onto it but otherwise is the same as the PAN1315. Both match the P1/P2 pinouts on the C5515 ezDsp.

Yes, the chip on the PAN1323ETU is capable of using Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR, BLE and ANT.

Good to know that it is compatible with the C5515 ezDSP as well. I am currently trying to do some development with it and the TMS320C5515EVM. The problem is that there is no BT stack available which is compatible with the C5515 dsp, like there is with the MSP430.

It would be great if you could share with us any news about this :)

I'm using PAN1323ETU and C5535 ezDSP.

I'm very interested in the BT stack because i'm working on a application to send some date from the bluetooth of a phone.

Hi Alexa,

Did you contact Stone Street One? They have a BT stack which can run on the C5000 DSPs. They might be able to give you an evaluation copy of the BT stack.

my name is Christian, i'm Professor at Marseille University, France and the supervisor of students projects using eZdsp c5535 and PAN1323ETU module.

Since 2-3 months, we are trying to establish a Bluetooth connection with this module ... unsucessfull !

Many Ti Experts recommend us to contact StoneStreet one to obtain Bluetooth Stacks (Bluetopia CC2560) ... for evaluation/education.

As suggested, i contacted them several times at mail adress sales@stonestreetone.com ... but nobody is answering.

Is there any Stonestreet One expert on this site to help me solving my problem.

Currently, i don't have any Bluetooth Code to program my PAN1323ETU module with eZdsp c5535.

However, we wrote some CSL code to adress UART and PAN1323ETU module and TX; signals like Tx, nshutDown, Clock, CTS are ok ... but the Bluetooth module is "invisible" for external connection. I suppose that we need absolutely the Bluetooth Stack and that no "aurorun" mode is available for PAN1323ETU (as is the case with others Bluetooth modules).

Finally, i heard that TI is planning some annoucement concerning Bluettoth and C5535 , is it right ?
