    TMS320VC5510 Power Supply Sequencing

    Is the TMS320VC5510 power supply sequencing critical?  The SPRAA43A application note seems to imply that it is but thus far I have been unable to find a reference as to what the proper sequence should be.

      I believe that I have found the answer to my power supply sequencing question in the SLVA073A application note.

      As recommended by TI the core should be powered before IO, however what is undocumented is that if after boot the IO is not needed then it can be shut down to save power, we do this in power critical applications and have not come across any negative effects.
