C5515 eZdspTM USB Stick Development Tool " Graphical LCD"

Hello everyone,

Could you please help me to find a graphical LCD display that is compatible C5515 eZdspTM ? I would like to display graphs and charts on the screen of this LCD for data I have inputted previously. My problem is that the LCD interface has 14 pins and I am having trouble finding a graphical LCD with 14 pins.

Hi Abdul,

I suppose the 96x16 pixel LCD on the C5515 eZdsp is not enough resolution for your needs? That LCD actually communicates over I2C.

On the C5515 EVM, same C5515 DSP, we use the LCD peripheral to display onto the 0SD-2828GDEDF11, which has 128x128 resolution.

Note that the C5515 eZdsp has all of the LCD signals present on the edge connector, so this is a feasible way to communicate with an LCD.

These edge connector pins are muxed internally with other serial communication protocols like SPI, I2C, UART so you can also use an LCD that communicates this way.
