    CCS Version: 4.2.5.00005

    CSL Version 2.50.000

Trying  to load the UART example project from:

C:\Program Files\C55 Low Power Chip Support Library v2.50.00\c55xx_csl\ccs_v4.0_examples\uart

into my CCS workspace. I Get the following error:  Other post relating to this generic issue talk about using newer versions of the tools, but according to the doc, all the csl examples were tested using ccs v4.1 and I am using a newer version of ccs, so i'd expect backwards compatibility.  Any ideas?

I personally is using 4.2.4.00033. According to this from CCS wiki, 4.2.5 is "Patch only". Does it mean 4.2.4 is needed?

I've isolated the issue. It is with my existing install of CCS.  The C5500 device support was not installed when i first put CCS on my machine.  I've started a new thread to address this issue on the CCS site:
