As per the Technical reference manual, DSK supports single microphone interface:
Reference from TRM - Section 2.2 AIC23 Codec - "The DSK uses a Texas Instruments AIC23 (part #TLV320AIC23) stereo codec for input and output of audio signals. The codec samples analog signals on the microphone or line inputs and converts them into digital data so it can be processed by the DSP".
Below is the snapshot of the C5510 DSK Codec interface.

Thanks Vasanth!
My requirement is to read from two microphone. Is there any other option available through which I can interface two mics to DSK 5510?
I can swap the ADC input mic to line and vice a versa through codec register settings but problem is I am not able to connect mic to line input.
Can I connect microphone to line input?
Thanks and Regards
Rajendra
Hi,
Try use the "Line in" for micorphone with the below mentioned option.
You need to provide bias current to electret mic for it to produce signal. Dynamic mic doesn't need any bias and should just work.
The above is just a suggestion or pointer to you & we haven't developed such application.
Hope the above information helps..

Thanks Vasanth,
I connected mic with preamplifier to line input and it is working fine now.
