Hi,

I have an own prototype with TMS320C5515. The problem is that I connected a 32.768KHz clock as in EVM5515 (RTCXI and RTCXO) and i can not see any clock signal as in the EVM board.

The only difference is that i have not used another clock or usb clock.

I don't know if there are any pin that affects to the clock used by the DSP. I've read the data sheet and i don't see anything relevant to me.

Hi Albert,

The CLK_SEL pin selects between a clock source from the RTC oscillator or CLKIN pin.

You could connect the clock signal to the CLKIN pin with CLK_SEL pulled high, but the bootloader expects to see a 12MHz clock, and divides peripheral clocks accordingly.

Or with CLK_SEL low, RTC oscillator can be fed a clock signal (instead of a crystal):

RTCXI connected to clock of DVDDRTC amplitude, RTCXO floating, VSS_RTC to GND

Where are you looking for a clock signal? The CLKOUT pin must be enabled by setting CLKOFF bit in the ST3_55 register:

Problem solved.

There was a hardware error. CVDDRTC was not feeded.

With this change, it is working.
