Which pin of C5509A to use as SPI Slave's /CS: FSX or GPIO?

Dear All,

I need to use C5509A's McBSP to implement some SPI Slave function which is similar to the SPI Slave port of ordinary SPI Flash.

According to subsection 6.7 McBSP as an SPI Slave of SPRU592E (TMS320VC5501/5502/5503/5507/5509/5510 DSP Multichannel Buffered Serial Port (McBSP) Reference Guide), the FSX pin should be used as the SPI Slave's /CS to connect to SPI Master's /SS. 

However, when McBSP is used as SPI Master to control a SPI Flash, a GPIO pin, rather than the FSX pin, should be used to connect to SPI Flash's /CS pin. 

I'm wondering which pin of C5509A should I use as SPI Slave port's /CS: The FSX pin or some GPIO pin ?
