Setting up c5000 CSL (low power) on CCS v6

I am working with a c5515 ezDSP, and after reading through lots of posts here, I have decided to try out the c5000 low power [ CSL ] to get more examples. It seems like mostly everyone has CSL examples working fine, but I am not being able to run them on CCS v6. I have read through lots of posts with people having trouble with their builds, but none of the solutions have worked for me, so asking for a step-by-step process here,

I do have the Spectrum Digital libraries working on my board. But how do I setup the CSL to work?

Following the older instructions in the [ installation guide ], I:

  • edited csl_general.h to make sure that the c5515 ezDSP macros get loaded
  • imported all projects at the same time
  • linked in the target configuration file (C5515eZDSPUSBKeyv2.ccxml) and GEL files (tried Spectrum Digital's GEL and the EVM's GEL)
  • built the project and tried running in debug mode

Not successful. I have tried this on two installations of CCS. Any help would be appreciated.
