[C5535] Serial NOR Flash boot

Hi community member,

Please let me confirm the following question just in case.

[Question]

 If C5535 meets the following requirements, does the C5535 support the boot with the SPI flash even though the serial Flash is  "Serial NOR Flash"?

And if I show the SPI NOR flash which my customer will use, would you please check whether it will use for boot of C5535?

    Hi Kaka-san,

    Yes, C5535 supports the boot modes (SPI ) with both SPI 16-bit EEPROM & SPI 24-bit Flash. 

    It needs to be ensured that 24bit SPI flash device meets all the requirements(including timing) specified in the C5535 bootloader App notes / Datasheet / TRM.
