We are using Titan (TNETV105x) processor. We are observed that all transmitted packets are captured on both physical ports of the eswitch. The issue seems specific to HSRP protocol configured on router, when HSRP is disabled on the router issue is not observed.
Following are the current configurations on our switch:
- EswitchDefaultCamSize = 64
- CAM Age Interval = 300 secs
Kindly respond to the following queries
- Can we print the CAM table entries? If yes, how can print them?
- How is HSRP related to CAM entries? How do we maintain CAM table entries when HSRP is enabled? Will there be entries of all the routers in CAM or will there be only one entry in CAM?
- Is there any other factor which may lead to this issue?
