Hi community member,
Please let me confirm the following question just in case.
[Question]
Is there any problem for supplying the power to DVDDIO during RTC-only mode?
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Best regards.

Hi Kaka-San,
To achieve the lowest power in RTC only mode, except for The RTC Core (CVDDRTC), RTC I/O (DVDDRTC), and LDO inputs (LDOI), all other power domain including DVDDIO can be totally shutdown. Otherwise we may not be able to achieve the specified low power in RTC only mode.
Hope this helps.

Hi Kaka-san,
This hasn't been verified ( supplying DVDDIO in RTC ONLY mode), as RTC only mode is meant to achieve low power mode by shutting off all power domain except for The RTC Core (CVDDRTC), RTC I/O (DVDDRTC), and LDO inputs (LDOI). Since this is not verified/characterized for this usage scenario, if this scenario is used (by supplying DVDDIO in RTC only mode), it would be at customers own discretion.
Hope this clarifies.

Hi Vasanth,
Thank you for your response.
I had a similar question on E2E, I had heard as below.
***************
The defination of RTC-Only mode requires LDOI, DVDDRTC and CVDDRTC to be powered. Rest of the power domians CAN BE powered off to achieve the lowest power saving. It is NOT a requirement to power off DVDDIO, USB_VDDOSC, USB_VDDA3P3, USB_VDDPLL during RTC only mode

And datasheet showed this as below.
>> All other power domains can be totally shut down when using RTC-only mode.
So, I understood that there is not problem for this design except for increasing the power consumption in RTC-only mode.
Best regards.
