TMS320C553X datasheet of the family have an error in the section of the UART peripheral, the register LCR for parity bits, SP, EPS and PEN, change the text in the name of the SP bit by ST, ST is correct because it enables stick parity.

Hi,

Yes, there is little confusion with the ST bit being mentioned in the "Table 7-14. Relationship Between ST, EPS, and PEN Bits in LCR" , Where as the bit in LCR is SP.

Will take this forward for proper mentioning of the Sticky parity bit in LCR register in the respective documents.
