since few days , i have been going though C5000 CSL examples with my eZDSP C5515 board. please don't get wrong , i may be totally messed up.but i am just not getting it.
and right now i am going trying to test CSL_MMCSD_SdCardExample and in the main source file , csl states from line number 86 onwards
* @li Repeat the test at the following PLL frequencies
* C5515: 60MHz and 100MHz
* C5517: 60MHz, 100MHz, 150MHz and 200MHz
* C5535 eZdsp: 60MHz and 100MHz
* @li Repeat the test in Release mode
right now i am with C5515 which can go upto 120Mhz , and i was running it at 120Mhz for trying this exmple, but as i go through sprufo6a.pdf ( TMS320C5515/14/05/04/VC05/VC04 DSP Multimedia Card (MMC)/Secure Digital (SD) Card Controller) .
the document states maximum function clock is 100Mhz. how you are doing it ? as i can see there is no prescaler for function clock from main system clock.
few more project also says that you can run mmc examples with clock rate higher than 100Mhz? but how ? i am really sorry if i missed something. please forgive me and guide me to the right path
if maximum function clock is 100Mhz . which means to me that i have to scale down my Main clock from 120Mhz to 100Mhz just because i want SD card module to be working.
and i guess very high number of examples have few minor major issue, like if you run I2C poll example and send the data fast enough, it will not work at all, I2S example has few other minor issues. i can give detailed bug report if you want.
i hope you people have understand my point ,
