Get started with TMDX5505EZDSP USB Development board

I recently bought a TMDX5505EZDSP processor and installed code composer
studio for DSP algorithm implementation purpose. I do have very good
experience in the Software side of Signal Processing but don't have much
exposure in using the DSP Processors so go this processor.
Please suggest me some resources to start with. I want to implement the
common DSP algorithms in processors and then build upon it.

Hi Nishant,

Please take a look at the C5505EZDSP product page for some test code to help you get started. There's also a teaching ROM that provides details on basic DSP techniques with great examples.

Also, please take a look at the forum guidelines for some additional information.

Hi Lalindra, Thanks that was of much help.
I have received the ccsv4 installation cd but i have windows 10 which supports ccsv6 officially. I wanted to know if C5505EZDSP can be used with CCSV6, because i see that all the installation instructions are given using ccsv4 so I find it hard to do those using ccsv6.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

You can try it with CCSv6. I imported the 5505_eZdsp_demo and was able to build it. I don't have a board to test this out at this time, but it should work. The target creation, etc instructions should be similar between CCS versions.
