TMS320C5515 EVM pin J13.15 Multiplexing

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C5515, ADS1298R, PCA9536, ADS1298

Hi All,

I am trying to connect TMS320C5515 EVM with ADS1298R, and currently I am looking at C5515's Technical Reference:

e061fbebec6d447d3f7f9211c713161a.jpg

I can see here that there is only INT1 connected to pin J13.15, and in my application I don't find it necessary to use interrupt, so I am wondering is anything else besides INT1 multiplexed to J13.15.

Thank you for answering.

Darko

  • Hi Darko,

Sorry, INT1 cannot be multiplexed with any other signal.

We built an ECG daughter card that attached to these headers a long time ago (now discontinued). For that design, we connected the INT1 interrupt signal to receive interrupts from a PCA9536 I2C IO expander.

The only other signals between the ADS1298 board and C55x were SPI, I2C, and GPIOs.

    There are some unconnected pins that you could blue-wire a signal to: J14 pins 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20 and J10 pins 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8.
Maybe you can blue wire from a resistor, jumper, or test point to one of these headers.
