TMS320VC5505: WBAMR G.722.2 CRC Calculation Encoder/Decoder

Part Number: TMS320VC5505

Is there an optimized CRC calcuation routine for the G.722.2 IF1 CRC? The encoder calculates the CRC and outputs it correctly. The RX/decoder side must calculate the CRC of the ClassA bits and compare it to know how to call the decoder. I don't see any way in the current library of functions to have the CRC calculated for you before calling the decoder.

Side note: does the decoder actually use the CRC in any way when reconstructing a packet for packet loss concealment or is it just used to indicate such a PLC call should be made to the decoder.

Thanks!
