TMS320C5517: For C5517 cold reset, how to start from user's bootloader?

Hello,

We plan to replace the C5416 with the C5517.

But we found a different between the C5416 and C5517.

For C5416, there is the pin of MP_MC. So when we set it to High, the chip will run from extra flash, our common boot software.

But for C5517, there isn't the pin of MP_MC. 

1st, so for C5517, it always boot from the inchip ROM after power up(cold reset), and load the user code from flash to RAM. Is it right?

2nd, we need to check the RAM integrity. How could check the RAM, if our code has been loaded into the RAM that it is need to be checked?
