Part Number: TMS320C5515
Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
I have been trying to get started with writing a simple FFT program for a TMS320C5515 EVM, but I keep getting stopped by either lack of documentation, or the code not compiling the way that the documentation says it should. I understand that is says XDAIS is missing, but I don't know where it's supposed to be at.

The chip support library I'm using is from the link you specified.
I talked to an IT support person and they directed me to download version 6, which all of the example code was written for, I also have version 4 installed as well. Should I have v7.4 installed?
I downloaded the tar file from the link you sent for the XDIAS, but I'm running windows, where should I put it at?
In reply to Aaron Jencks:
I checked, and I have version 6.2.0.00050 installed; but I downloaded and installed v7.4 now, assuming that's what you wanted me to do.
My documentation has become a bit scattered, but most of it should be in the two files I uploaded marked UserFiles.zip
Originally I was also following documentation for the c55x benchmarks, but I forgot to save a link to it, and have since lost the pdf, I have attached those as well.
I've been following the slide show marked C55x_Software_Overview_Slides.pdf to find the links to the CSL and the BIOS, and anything else that's listed there for software downloads,
I launched version 7.4 and got an error while migrating the projects from version 6:
Let's start from the top and get a CSL example for the C5515 built in CCS. Please see the screenshots below.
1) Assuming that you have CSL installed at the location below:
2) Launch CCS and import the "checked" projects as seen below. Please don't check any other boxes.
3) The CCS workspace should look like below
Prior to building the project, ensure the correct C55x macro is set in C:\ti\c55_lp\c55_csl_3.08\inc\csl_general.h. Attached is a sample file with #define C5515_EVM for reference.
Hope this works. If you still see CCS related project property errors, please try with CCS v7.
Thank you so much!
