CCS/TMS320C5535: Can not connect to Hardware

Part Number: TMS320C5535

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello All,

I can not establish connection with my TMS320C5535 as the emulator required is not in my version of code composer ver 7.4.  I think I need the XDS100 emulator, I have read that I should use ver 3.3 but thats not available for free. Could someone please help with this issue.

Jag.

  • Hi Jagjit,

What is your emulator? Would you please take a screenshot of your CCS where you want to choose connection name?

I send you two image related to your problem.

In addition take a look at link bellow. It may help you.

Would you please open the .CCXML file which includes the device and connection emulator you are working with in your project and take a screenshot. I could guess what goes wrong. I want to see something like images bellow.

If you click on this file then as you see in the next image, a new window will open. It contains information about your device and emulator.

    Regards.

    Hossein
