File system on the C5515 ezUSB stick

Is there any code example on how to read/write to a file system (e.g. FAT32/ext2 etc) on the C5515 ezUSB stick? This file system could stay on the on-board SD card, for example.

Also, any code example to use the USB slave interface on this board? I could then write device derivers to access the SD card from a host PC to upload raw data (e.g. a raw image file) for the DSP and download processed data.

Hi Durga,

See the TMS320C55x Chip Support Library (CSL) for VC5504, VC5505, C5504, C5505, C5515 and C5514 devices.

In the examples are SD card, file system, and USB projects.

Hi all

Sorry for the delay in responding. I do this as a hobby on weekends so it sometimes gets pushed to the backburner. And also in my browser the 'verify answer' button did not show up for some reason until today.

In any case, I downloaded the code that was pointed out to by Mark and ran it on my C5515 USB stick (NOT the full EVM board) and each of the SD-MMC test fail the same way: they do not detect the SD card as being present; please see below. However, the microSD card IS present, is formatted FAT16 and is functional, as I verified multiple times on a Windows XP PC.

I must be missing something here, but not sure what. Plus I am a completely neophyte to TI microcontrollers and the CCS IDE. Please help!

Have you resolved this issue already ? If not, check that the variable C5515_EZDSP ia defined, it was missing in the copy I have and once defined the test passed

BTW, have you found any file system for the 5515 EZDSP SD ?

Are you also trying to get the SD card examples working on the C5515 ezdsp? what specifically is the problem faced?
Please take a look at the CSL examples located at software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html

Ensure that the correct macro is defined in csl_general.h before building/running the examples.
