Hi, We are thinking to interface ADC and DAC using C5505 I2S. Since we have multiple ADC/DACs on board, One ADC and DAC might need to be connected to the same I2S port. Does anyone know if the C5505 I2S port (in master mode) have enough driving capability for 2 slave devices? In our project, the ADC...

So I'm working on a new design here at work, and the hardware engineer decided on a C5510 and a Linear Tech LTC1407 serial ADC. Since I've never used a C55xx before, and don't know how its DMA engine compares to the EDMA3 from C6000s, I thought I'd try to use the Data Converter Plugin...

Fangyi, The closest example software I know for what you are trying to do is \CSL_SAR_DmaExample which is delivered with CSL v2.10. You can obtain the LOWPOWER CSL from this site: http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/sprc133.html . Regards.

Hi, I want to use C5510a DSK to read external data from AD7813. The AD7813 has 9 output pins( 8 data output pins and 1 busy signal pin) and 3 control signal pins(CS RD CONVST), but the C5510a has only 8 GPIO(general purpose IO) pins, I still need another 4 IO pins . Hi Folks, For a school project, the ezDSP USB Kit TMS320C5535 was chosen as the development platform. Our current quandary has to do with configuring the DSP to work with an external ADC (ADS8319) which uses a serial SPI interface. The internal ADC of the C5535 does not meet our performance needs...
