CSL GUI configuration was a feature of DSP/BIOS. However, that feature was dropped from DSP/BIOS after 4.90.

JohnAtANS Ouch! That's one of the main reasons chose a TI DSP for my latest project. I didn't technically need a DSP, but on past projects the GUI CSL made it really easy to get started and try various what-ifs. Is TI losing their edge, or their will to compete, or anything like that? I sincerely...

    Brian Willoughby Brian Willoughby
I have read SPRU596A and SPRU511 as well as scanned the csl_usb.h header, and I think I have a decent start on programming a USB Device firmware for the C5506. However, it would really help to see some sample code. I could not find anything installed with CCS3. Any pointers would be welcome.

Is there a CSL example showing working Isochronous USB communication? I have an application where I need two isochronous IN endpoints with a rather large payload (375 to 500 bytes). The C55x USB sample code that I have only has partial isochronous source code which is incomplete and commented out. Has...

I wanted to let everyone know that a bug was discovered in the v4.3.3 of the Code Generation Tools (Compiler) that made USB enumeration fail on the USB example1 for the CCS3.3 examples. It most likely was causing other problems as well. The bug was carried through v4.3.4 and v4.3.5 releases. It has been...

Hi Mladen, We do not have any audio examples that use DSP/BIOS, but the CSL ( find the latest CSL here ) includes a good example that uses DSP/BIOS for a USB Mass Storage Device. It is probably the best starting point for a DSP/BIOS audio pass-through program. Most of the .tcf file is already...

To follow up, we were informed that our EVM5505 boards were obsolete (although we only bought them with the MDK PO kit a few months ago) so we switched to the newer (?) EVM5515 board.
