TMS320C6472 mcsdk helloworld run on smt372t

Hi,

I run the helloworld from the mcsdk on the smt372t with carried board smt111. The console print message as follows:

 TCP/IP Stack "Hello World!" Application

Registration of the EMAC Successful, waiting for link up ....

Network Added: If-1:192.168.1.11

port 0 link status: 1000Mb/s Full Duplex on PHY 1.

But when I send messages from PC to DSP core0, it does not receive any packages.

Ping from the PC to DSP, it has no response.

What is the problem with the project.Could you please help me . Thanks .

  • The board is designed by Sundance. It has fewer information. I wonder the mcsdk_1_00_00_08\packages\ti\platform\nimu\test\evm6472\helloWorld can run on the dual C6472 board.  Need to modify anything in the code?

The FPGA code about the PHY is already burned into the flash and have checked correctly.

  • Yuan,

The MCSDK supported C6472 based EVMs are TMDSEVM6472 / TMDSEVM6472LE.
Go through the below link and find more details of C6472 based EVM,
    http://www.ti.com/tool/tmdsevm6472

    http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/C6472
The C6472 EVM incorporates a quad-port Marvell 88E1145 Ethernet PHY transceiver.

As per your EVM, does not support this MCSDK and you may contact the EVM vendor for get the suitable software.

I believe that, this dual EVM having a single Ethernet PHY (Marvell 88E1116),which is connected to an FPGA MAC as per Product Specification SMT372T.

I can't provide examples for other PHYs since documentation for most industry PHYs requires an NDA.
Any questions concerning the configuration of the PHY should be directed to Marvell.
