Problem starting PC Trace with XDS Pro

Hi!

I'm trying to do some profiling on a TMS320TCI6488 (part of a quite long chain of dsps) but run into this error message when I try to start the PC Trace:

All steps until this (Test connection, connecting target, loading symbols) works fine.

Any ideas on what may be wrong?

  • Hi Terry,

    try reducing the number of pins in the receiver settings to 10.
    Then you really don't want to check everything in the PC trace settings (this will exceed the bandwidth on the interface and you'll see lots of gaps in the trace data). I'd recommend sticking with the default settings first.
