Problem installing MCSDK

Hello everyone,

I am trying to install and use MCSDK on a Linux system (bios_mcsdk_bios_mcsdk_02_01_02_06). Most of the installation goes right for different versions of CCS. Nevertheless, when I try to Add Discovered Products I get something like:

Operation details
Cannot complete the install because some dependencies are not satisfiable
com.ti.biosmcsdk.feature.group [2.1.2.6] cannot be installed in this environment because its filter is not applicable.

As I mentioned, I had tried with different CCS version: 5.4, 5.5, 6.0 and 6.1, with the same result.

So my question is: which is the right CCS I should use to properly have the MCSDK for developing multicore applications?

Thanks in advance for all the informations and hints you can provide me.

  • Hi,

Welcome to the TI E2E forum. I hope you will find many good answers here and in the TI.com documents and in the TI Wiki Pages (for processor issues). Be sure to search those for helpful information and to browse for the questions others may have asked on similar topics (e2e.ti.com).

CCS 5.5 and higher versions are fine for bios_mcsdk_bios_mcsdk_02_01_02_06 package installation.

Please download the latest MCSDK for Keystone I devices(C6657/70/78) and the follow user guide here.

    Thanks,
