Hi,

I need a way to reset the C6474 by software command and erase the memory content of all 6 cores.

Is there a register that I can write to perform a reset similar to a power on reset or a warm reset?

Hi,
I checked the manual and there are 4 types of resets that are detailed: Power-On Reset, Warm Reset, System Reset, CPU Reset. Non of those will do the job since Power-On Reset and Warm Reset are pin activated, while System Reset and CPU Reset don't erase the memory content.

There is one more reset: the Module Reset, but I was not able to find enough information on it.

As far as i know, there is no RESET register available to trigger through software. There is an internal system reset available which can be trigger through emulator or watchdog. Please refer section 7.7.3 System Reset in the data manual to know more details about system reset.
